Ski Racers Can Use Deep Water to Unload and Recover their Joints and Skeletal Systems

Ski racers resist gravitational forces with every turn they make. Their joints and skeletal systems are constantly compressed and taxed as they fight for pelvic stabilization in the fall line. These forces of gravity put enormous "loads" on the ski athlete's bodies on a day to day training basis.

Here are some videos of Waterville Valley Academy skiers training in the pool after a demanding ski session on the mountain. The athletes are taking advantage of the deep water environment as they completely remove the stress on their joints and spines because they are GRAVITY-FREE. They can still train hard addressing key fitness qualities with ZERO IMPACT on their joints and skeletal systems. The athletes can recover their bodies and be ready to "go hard" on their skis the next day.
