"Running Around the Head" can help athletes decompress as well as develop balance, flexibility, endurance and core strength

Here are a group of elite ski racers from Waterville Valley Academy in Waterville Valley, NH performing an exercise called "RUNNING AROUND THE HEAD" on the surface of the water. After training hard on the hill they are able to  recover their joints and muscles in the water and remove stress. Most importantly, they are ending their day reminding their muscles of the awesome ranges of motion the water allows them to have.

-the athlete's fight to balance on their side
-the athlete's fight to keep their top leg on the surface
- the athlete's fight to move their legs in big ranges at all times
