Young Athletes Need Lots of Coordination and Balance Training

Here are some videos of two young ski racers, ages 10 and 12, training at PWL.

The 2 most important qualities every young athlete needs to train first are COORDINATION and BALANCE. Once they lay this crucial foundation, they can begin to add the other essential qualities of fitness: FLEXIBILITY, ENDURANCE, SPEED and STRENGTH. As an athlete matures, they must incorporate these 6 essential qualities in their training program.

These athletes are lucky to start this type of training at such a young age!
