Here are a couple of my new younger athletes taking the challenge-
Athletes travel forward by continuously hopping and turning 90 degrees on one leg. They must alternate turning to the right and to the left at each hop.
Now ADD backwards-
Focus is on:
-coordination of timing the arm and leg swing with the hop turn
-stabilize each hop landing
-light landings by getting height with the jump
-contolling pelvis in the air to turn exactly 90 degrees
