While wearing small tubing between their feet, athletes continuously step forward (and then backward) performing a one -legged squat while tucking their foot behind their knee. THEN -without putting their foot down- athletes stand tall and perform a balanced one- legged star kick-out.
Focus is on:
-maintaining balance in squat position and the kick-out
-head and chest up on squat -no breaking at pelvis
-hips up and pelvis forward on kick out
