Hip opener kick- outs

Wearing a Burdenko Belt (a waist belt with tubing for arms and legs), athletes sit on bench with 1 straight leg and 1 leg bent at 90 degrees. They lift their bent leg and straighten it while coordinating an overhead clap with the leg extension.
Focus is on:
-no break at pelvis
-coordinating arms with legs
-toes up on straight leg
-staying square with upper body
